To-be.tech 2026: Packed House and Pure AI Magic at Ingensteds

It was a full house when To-be.tech 2026 kicked off at Ingensteds. Together with Folio, we gathered 150 attendees for expert talks featuring speakers from Norway, Sweden, Finland, and England.

The goal of To-be.tech is simple: we want to unite the industry around what is actually shaping our future. It’s about artificial intelligence, new tech, and automation—but above all, it’s about the people who will be using these tools.

Putting Humans at the Heart of the AI Revolution

The stage was stacked with well-known names and razor-sharp insights. Kari Holm, Johan Sköld, Henrik Larsson Broman, Francois Roux, Dave Sellick, Ole Soo, Sandra Lillesalt Valvik, and Rune Aale-Hansen all delivered top-tier sessions. On top of that, our partners stepped up for a proper grilling during the panel discussion.

A recurring theme throughout the day was how AI is changing the game. Technology isn't about replacing skilled professionals; it's about giving them the tools to deliver more value and build stronger relationships.

Martin Kittilsen, Senior Manager Accounting & Payroll at Enora, summed it up perfectly from his industry perspective:

"AI isn't going to replace accountants, but accountants who use AI will replace those who don't. AI can give you the numbers faster, while accountants make them relevant and provide businesses with better insights."

Low Threshold, High Energy

We hosted the event at Ingensteds to create an informal setting where it's easy to chat, share experiences, and get inspired—all in great surroundings. We wanted a conference that provides actionable, professional, and innovative content attendees can put into practice right away.

Charlotte Søvik from Økonomihuset AS summarised the experience like this:
